At first glance, one might think that Broadway's only love is food. This is not quite true, yes, Broadway loves to eat as his 2,000 pound bulk can attest. But Broadway has several greater loves that outweigh even his love of food. Perhaps the strongest is his loyalty is to his fellow gargoyles, and all those he considers in his clan like Elisa Maza. When one of his clan is hurt or harmed in anyway, Broadway tends to leap into action before considering what the consequences will be. He also harbors a great love for movies, especially cop and detective movies and shows. He often badgers Elisa into letting him help with her detective work, which he surprisingly is quite good at. He seems to have a great affection for Elisa, respecting her skills and talents, though often worrying for her safety, as she's just a small human. Of the trio, Broadway seems the least concerned with his future and what will happen to his clan. He's pretty accepting to the world around him, he's pretty much a "go with the flow" kind of guy. He lets others worry about making the decisions, not really wanting or desiring any special attention or responsibilities. This doesn't mean that he never does anything on his own but it is rare. Later on he develops a relationship with Goliath's daughter Angela, who probably realizes that his heart is even bigger than his stomach.
