Titania

Titania is the wife and queen of Oberon, king of the fey. She divorced the king in order to study the science and technology of the human world. It was there that she grew interested in a scientist named Halcyon Renard. She married the man and helped him to further his talents and helped him to build an empire a close second to Xanatos’s. In time she grew tired of his constant integrity and honor and left him to pursue other interests. This was after she had given birth to a daughter, Fox. Fox was raised as a human and was unaware that the mother whom she still kept in touch with and occasionally worked with was anything other than a human. It was on one project that the two worked on together that Goliath first met the Queen, though he didn’t know it at the time. Fox and Titania (as Anastasia Reynard) where working on a nano-technology experiment that when hideously out of bounds, threatening to engulf and consume the world in a gray goo of technology. It was only through the combined efforts of Goliath and Dingo, a former Pack member, that the menace was defeated. Leaving the Fairie Queen in their debt, she repaid Goliath by leaving hints on how to defeat her husband when he tried to reclaim the isle Avalon from Princess Katherine and her clan. Goliath did not understand until later that Anastasia and Titania were one.

After the birth of Fox’s son, Titania convinced Oberon that the child should be raised in Avalon where his mystical side could be nurtured. Agreeing to please her, and then later out of obstinacy, Oberon attempted to take the child. He was fought by the Xanatoses, The Manhattan Clan, her ex-husband Halcyon, and at last Puck. When Fox in desperation used her own mystic powers to stay Oberon, Titania was convinced that her grandchild could be properly raised in the human world and allowed Oberon to be talked out of taking the child. However, there is some doubt as to whether the taking of Alexander was Titania's actual goal. It was heavily implied that her true goal was to make Fox aware and accepting of her fairie side and abilities. If this is true the sheer magnitude of her cleverness and ability to manipulate others surpasses even Xanatos. This combined with her magical powers and control of Oberon makes her a very formidable character.
