. . . .
The City The mecca for
all superheroes. The City is a city that needs protection. It has more
supervillians than any other city in the world, including New York! Paired
with a completly ineffectual police force and government it makes the
perfect proving ground for young up and coming superheroes and sidekicks.
The City has an impressive number of superheroes guarding it. Notables
amoung them are Die Fledermaus, American Maid, the Sewer Urchin, The
Crusading Chameleon and of course the Tick and Arthur.
The Diner
The Diner is a popular hangout for the city's crime fighters when they're
not fighting crime. For many it seems like a second home. You can often
see such superheroes as The Crusading Chameleon, The Tick and Arthur, Die
Fledermaus and the Sewer Urchin. The Diner sometimes gets caught in the
cross-fire and was destroyed once by the Mad Nanny. Vowing revenge the Tick
declared "You just toasted the best BLT joint in the tristate area;
prepare to pick up the tab!" It seems that it wasn't totally destroyed
because it was back and up and running by the next episode.
The Evil Eye
The Evil Eye is the hang-out for all the super villians of the City. The
Tick and Arthur once recieved and invitation to the Evil Eye but it was a
trick by Mr. Mental so that he could hypnotise the Tick and make him do
his evil bidding. The Tick and Arthur also tried to infiltrate the Evil
Eye when Venus and Milo stole the heroes arms. Things were going okay
until the villians grew suspicious and told them they had to eat a kitten
to prove that they were evil. The Tick had this to say about the
experience, "Eating kittens is just plain ...plain wrong! And no
one should do it, ever!" Words to live by.
Arthur's
Apartment Arthur's Apartment is The Tick and Arthur's
superhero headquarters. It's located at 113 Eden Street, Apt. 7B, and
while it's not to fancy it seems to be in a pretty good neighborhood. The
neighbors are pretty quiet, except for that small problem with apartment
14b. But after Thrakkorzog the inter-demensional alien and his evil clones
were delt with the building has been very quiet. While it's not exactly
what the Tick wishes for, it has served them well so far. The Tick wishes
to "improve" it to be more appropriate for superheroes but Arthur won't
let him because he'd probably lose his deposit.
