Sailor Moon Sailor Moon is the leader of the sailor scouts. She is not the best fighter (in fact she's quite the crybaby), she's not the smartest, strongest, or even the most devoted to the cause of fighting evil. She's actually pretty clutzy, scatterbrained, a bit of a weakling and just wants to be a normal girl.

Sailor Moon is actually Serena (Bunny in the Mixx-zine translation of the manga, Usagi Tusinko in the orginal Japanese), your normal everyday teenager who'd much rather be eating, sleeping or chasing boys than studying or fighting evil. But when Luna finds her and tells her her destiny is to be the Sailor Scout of the Moon and the protector of the Earth she is reluctantly prodded into the role. Sailor Moon's greatest asset and what makes her most powerful of all is her hope and belief that love will find a way to make everything right no matter how bad it gets. Serena is a true friend, and has, and would again, sacrifice everything to protect her family and friends. She always manages to see the good in people (eventually) even if they've been really nasty to her. Serena was actually the Moon Princess of the Silver Millenium, a thousand years ago. Queen Beryl destroyed the Moon Kingdom and the only way Queen Serenity could save her daughter and the other children of the moon empire was to send them, their cat guardians, and their foes in the negaverse into the future to be reborn. In the future, Serena will become Neo-Queen Serenity, the ruler of a new Utopia of peace. Sailor Moon is deeply in love with Tuxedo Mask (Tuxedo Kamen in the orginal Japanese). It is a romance that has spanned centuries, begining with Princess Serena falling in love with a young Prince Dairen of Earth, continuing in the present between Serena and Darien, and ending in the future when he rules as Neo-King Endiymon beside her.

Sailor Moon has many powers that she has learned to use against the forces of evil. She uses these different tools and phrases to activate them. Moon Prism Power She says this to transform into Sailor Moon. Moon Tiara Magic She says this when she converts her tiara into a frisbee like weapon. At first, it was capable of destroying monsters. It is now used to knock down enemies, rather than destroying them or weaken them enough to be healed. Disguise Power She says this to activate her disguise pen. She uses this to disguise herself as needed, to follow people (or enemies) where her normal self could not go. Moon Healing Activation She says this when using the Cosmic Crescent Wand to convert monsters back into their original form (as normal Earth beings). Moon Crystal Power She says this to transform into Sailor Moon. Moon Sceptre Elimination She says this to use the power of the Moon Sceptre to eliminate her enemies.
