A new teacher at Furinkan High School, many students were puzzled by the child-like English teacher. Her secret was soon revealed when she stopped a panty raid by Happosai with an awesome chi-sucking attack. Using any round object, usually a 5 yen coin, to focus the attack she can absorb the fighting spirit of her attacker this temporarily turns her into the most shapely woman in the series. She can also send out a very destructive chi-blast, this drains her of power and transforms her back to a child.
As a little girl she tends to be very hyper and cute, often demanding toys, balloons and sweets. Her powerful attack was taught to her by Happosai when she was a sickly young child in a hospital. She thought the Happou-Goen-Satsu, "best gynmastics", technique was to help her get better, actually Happosai used her to aid his attacks on the underthings of the nurses at the hospital. In order to disable her powers Ranma discovered a series of pessure points he'd have to press. Due to the rather sensitve nature of the location of the nerve touches Ranma found it very hard to achive his goal without being branded a pervert.
