Tsubasa Kurenai is former classmate of Ukyo who has a serious crush on her. Constantly pursuing her and popping up at the oddest times (and as the oddest things) the Master of disguise is always sending her presents and love notes. After recieving a note in return from Ukyou informing her of her engagement to Ranma (along with an enclosed photo of Ranma-chan) Tsubasa decided to challenge Ranma-chan to a cuteness contest for Ukyou. (Ran-chan won by one vote, Ukyou's.) Ranma tried to explain to Tsubasa that Ukyou was a girl, but Ukyou's extremely cute ex-classmate replied that that was no surpise. Finding out that Tsubasa liked not only girls but basicly any girl that was nice (including Ranma-chan and Akane). Shocked that such a cute person should hate boys, Ranma decides to take her on a date as himself. When he later discovers that "she" is a cross-dressing "he" he dropped the whole matter in disgust. For his part, Tsubasa doesn't understand why he and Ranma can't be friends since they share the same "hobby" of cross dressing.
