Kodachi Kuno is the insane younger sister of Tatewaki Kuno. Rising young star of the St. Heberiki School Martial Arts Rythmic Gymnastics team, Kodachi has led her team to victory countless times. Most notable about these victories were that they came about without actually ever going to match. Kodachi managed to defeat all of her opponents by ambushing them the night before the matches. On one such late night excursion, when she was going to dispose of her latest opponent Akane Tendo, she met the boy of her dreams, Ranma Saotome. Determined to have him she challenged Akane for his hand. When Akane had to drop out due to an injury, Ranma-chan was forced into the defenders role. Despite her many dirty tricks in the match Kodachi was defeated. This, and the fact that Ranma-chan had the adacity to call herself by Kodachi's beloved's name, ensured that Kodachi would hate and dispise the pig-tailed girl.
